DSN : Day II & III
...continued from the last post.
DAY II
Day 2 was
actually the day which set the stage on fire, literally. It gave participants a feeling that DSN isn’t that cool
;) The processes made them shed false image and to some, it hit hard. I would
say this was actually the day where the changes began to be apparent. Sleep,
food, fatigue starting taking a toll on many. But must say many were pepped up
and were smiling despite all odds.
All were busy
preparing for their performances…singing, dancing, skits, anchoring. Practice
was in full swing. I would say it was the most energetic day of the course. And
the beauty of it was that all were happy. They may not be doing things correctly
or perfectly but the smile did not fade away…and that’s what DSN is!
Evening
Performance at Metro Walk, Rithala was a hit! Through these performances, these
participants made a sincere effort to revive the spirit of patriotism and made
people socially aware about the ills evading our country…corruption, female infanticide,
drugs, pollution. This all was done as a curtain raise for Mega event in Feb
2013 – VOLUNTEER FOR BETTER INDIA.
Though I missed
Ankit Batra’s concert that happened late evening, what I heard was that it was
one of its kind! All were singing and dancing including Atika Di! Ecstasy
galore!
Day III
The last day of
DSN. Well, its human psyche that the ending is assumed to be easy. It seems
that so may hurdles have been crossed and these last few hours are nothing. And
that’s where the trap is! It used to be fun sight to watch people doing the
morning Sadhna. Many used to doze off to sleep or used to be on the verge :D.
Their asanas and pranayams use to be hilarious! Especially Nadi Shodhan Pranayam ( which many pronounced as Naari Shoshan!!)
The
processes done this day were todu – Yes! That’s
the word. They were beyond imagination of the participants. I can’t reveal
but they are really really good! Hearing them one would say, “What??” and after
doing it, it would be, “WoW!!” And it made the participants broke the biggest
barrier!!

I was happy to
have been there during the entire DSN. Till the end of DSN, I was fully charged
up and energetic but after coming back home, I lay dead for 2 days! I slept for
flat 12 hours!! Lols!
All in all, a
great experience. A new responsibility. A new zest. A new vision.
Keep Smiling J
