Why did you come into my life?

When the longing arises , poems come up. Effortlessly. 
And that is so true. There is no better way of expressing the sweet pain..

At times I feel,
Why did you come into my life?
Life was so peaceful without you
and suddenly you entered, out of the blue!
The joy of your presence made me feel complete
And the pain of the longing now makes me feel the heat!

There was a void earlier 
Inexplicable in words to the world
You came and gave me answers
And a beautiful world of my dreams unfurled...

You made me go deep within my self
Becoming oblivious to the pain around 
And that made me love you all the more
My heart was won hands down

At times I feel,
Why did you come into my life?
You made me see divinity in everything,
You made me realize to make service my aim
And then when i wanted to walk towards the aim,
You said to do a job and changed the ballgame!

I have the faith that you know what's the best
but c'mon yaar, why to take so many tests??
I know you notice me when I stand near you,
But why to ignore when yeh dil maange more!

After tasting the nectar of the divine love,
Nothing else tends to satiate my thirst
And the phase when the heart longs and cries
Oh my! my! Trust me it's the worst! :(

At times I feel,
Why did you come into my life?
But if you hadn't,
My life would have been dry
You came and gave it a purpose
and happiness kicked a new high! :)

You are the one whose raised questions in my mind
The questions which perturb the restless soul
And you are the only one who can give the answers
Tell me soon! Is all I can plead and cajole

You've made me useful to the world,
You've made my living worthwhile
And while I will have my times of being upset with you,
You've taught me how to still maintain the smile :)

Life , with you, is sometimes unbearable BUT Life, without you, is unimaginable! :)
