The Bollywood theme Party!

Recently attended a Bollywood Theme Party at CWG Village. Thanks to my Friend Kanika for throwing it. The occassion was her Mom's 50th Birthday celebrations.

As the theme was Bollywood, each and every one was expected to come as a star . That was one of the things that made the party alive. The couples were to come dressed as bollywood's hit pairs like Jhilmil and Barfi. And the singles were given characters like Munna bhai - Circuit (Sanjay Dutt - Arshad Warsi from Munaabhai MBBS), etc. I was suppose to come as Sridevi of Chaalbaaz. But I just didn't know what to do! So I chose to dress up as Deepika of Chennai Express. ( Aiyo!). That was the easiest for me since I had the dress. Kanika 's Mom , the star attraction was dressed as Basanti :) Kanika herself was potraying Parineeti of Ishaqzaade

The party was good. A lot of preparations were done by Kanika , Neha di and others to make it look like Bollywood. Colorful and glittery. Enjoyed posing and getting clicked. And then did what i like the most - DANCE!! It was difficult to manage dancing crazily in a saree ;). Sharing some pics! Would love to go to such a party again and this time with full preparation ;)
