10 awesome facts about the World Culture Festival 2016
Delhi will host the first World Culture Festival (WCF), a three-day event celebrating cultural diversity and Art of Living's 35 years of service to humanity, from 11th -13th March 2016 at the ground opposite Mayur Vihar Metro station. Here are some interesting facts about this grand extravaganza.

WCF will bring together people from
155 countries with different cultures, nations and faiths as a ONE
WORLD FAMILY in a resounding message of peace.

The total crowd of 3.5 million people will be equal to the total of all
visitors to all matches of the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil, and it will be
more than three times (!) as much as the total of all events of the Winter
Olympics 2014 in Sochi or the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2015.

President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have given their consent to the part of inaugural ceremony and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar would himself be present for the all the three days!

The total ground for the program is spread over 1000 acres, with the main event covering 300 acres. The stage itself will be 7.5 acres, which is the same size as 6 football fields put together, and it will accommodate over 20,000 dignitaries and artists!
