Weekend full of Guru-Dev :)
SriSri Ravi Shankar – this guy amazes me day in day out. I can’t but fall oopss “rise” in love with
him with each passing day. :) The relation between a master and devotee is priceless,
precious and beyond the terminology of “beautiful”. 8 months have passed of my
Job and every day I wonder – How ? It is only HE who is making it possible. His
love is so unconditional and his presence is so palpable!
This
weekend HE, yet gain, made me feel special, and realize the power of I-A-M.
Intention – Attention – Manifestation. It is the month of Shravan and I wanted to organize Rudra Puja done by Art of Living’s
Swamiji and Veda boys – so much so that I took their date and time ( we need to
book them prior) but didn’t have a clue how am I gonna do it! So this past Sunday 28th July) 8.30 am was fixed. I was elated at the same time perplexed
– where to find a big venue ? How will we meet the expenses which will be
around 10000? But with a master in your life, you don’t need to think twice
before entering unseen waters. He will NOT make you swim...there's is no need 'coz he will make you float :) Everything happened
effortlessly. We were not able to find a big venue to accommodate the crowd or
was beyond our budget. Even if we stretched our budget, the venue was not
available. Hehehe..God Loves fun! So 3 days before – by Thursday we decided to
drop the idea of organizing it. But few volunteers really wanted to. It was
their intention that paid off. Things happened miraculously well after it. We
got a venue – the owners took responsibility of some things like arrangement of
Prasad etc…other volunteers took charge of sound system, decoration, Puja samagri etc.
I
wasn’t able to devote much time or be present physically due to my job but it did
not become a constraint. Follow up was kept on Saturday evening because Sunday morning
we had Puja. So Saturday 7 pm.I , for once, was skeptical how many would turn up but there
around 40 people on Saturday evening! Ok – so this was a sweet surprise. Then
came a “sweaty” surprise! The light went off just after the warm up when people
had started sweating profusely! The whole hall was in darkness – except for `1
light (Strange huh?) Had that light not been done I wonder how the follow up would
have happened! Then the stereo started acting funny! The Sudarshan kriya tape
was playing ok on a back up and suddenly Guruji’s voice started fading..volume
lowered.. – I was like Hello! Abhi toh naye cell dale the! Theek se chalo
bhai! :D
All
the while I just sat and watched. Sakshi bhaav
se. I knew my doubts will be transferred to the ones doing the kriya so I surrendered - let the divine make
the kriya happen – in the best way. In any way, he only does! :D Kriya got over – no light yet. And after
kriya, light would have come or not it hardly mattered and Eureka! it came! :)
Man! The scene was like – Guruji ! tussi
great ho! How he gives opportunities to apply knowledge points!
Sunday
started early with Rudra Puja organizing. As usual- chaos toh machna hi hota hai. Decoration guy had to come at 5 am
and he came at 7 am! ( And he was wierd! ) Veda Boys had come and half of the Puja samagri was on the
way! People had started coming for Puja and the front room seemed almost full
in a matter of few minutes! We had around 5 Sankalpas a day earlier and by the
time the Puja started, there were 27 Sankalpas! And as usual – the number of
people who came to attend it were exactly the number which could have been accommodated :)
We
all were happy! Swami Vishambarji was happy to see that youth had organized it.
YES!+ rocks :)
Satsang that followed after the Puja was mesmerizing If you can notice a guy in yellow kurta in this pic - he is Kunal. An excellent singer and a humble corporate worker :) How amazing he sang shiva bhajans!
I would not like to thank the volunteers who organized it. Thanking seems superficial. I am proud of each one of them! Each of them is a jewel who is getting polished by the Master and is and shall shine more and more in life ! :)

Needless to say, fun is in our nature. Guru ke saath dev free milta hai ;) So before the Rudra Puja and after the Rudra puja, we had oodles of fun!
Pic on the left is of our chikni chameli distributing the panchamrit.
Pic on the right shows our Budding Rishi / swami – if not that level, veda boy ke level tak toh chala hi jayea :D
Keep Smiling !
Swati :)
