Rendezvous with G!

Yesterday I met G! Meeting him always leads to creation of some guru storis I guess for many. When I last met him , I’d put up a post on my Guru story here.

Well, this time too had great ones!!  First meeting was at a book inaugration called" Incredble India" by him at Rafi Marg where dignitaries like Ramjhetmalani, Jaswant Singh shared the dias with him. ( Of course , people only wanted to listen to Guruji! :)).

As I’ve heard and learnt, I truly believe Guru is not a physical entity, its a tatva-an element which is all pervading and I vouch for it. At the same time, the physical presence does hold some significance ( however, its NOT the only time you can meet him ;)) Just the news that he’s coming to Delhi puts up a smile – Oh! WOW! will get to see him yet again, physically. His sheer presence infects all around him with a deadly virus called “SMILE” and the subsequent bliss permeates each cell of the body! Literally!

Meeting Guruji in Delhi is always fun & adventurous for many reasons. These are the days when:

• His whereabouts are least known – there would be two information for the same date and time and you may be perplexed!

• Even though you may be wearing a watch but wouldn’t like to go along with the time. Early morning / late nights will become quite common and thus thrashing from home too! :P

• You will connect to your sources ( nah! Not the self ..I mean the contacts) who can validate the info you receive from all sides.

• If you are not a Delhi fan and haven’t explored it much, you sure are going to figure out new places and new ways. I bet!

• During that time, the mind works overtime – trying to figure various ways and means to reach HIM efficiently and economically :)..You seriously become a Jugaadu err.. skillful!

• The foes (I just mean the people whom you don’t know well) become your best buddies b’coz they are gonna help you in meeting and the friends seem aliens, at times. But I’m sure nobody minds it, GURU se milne ke liye sab chalta hai ;)

• Meeting HIM is, at times, also a test of how deep you’ve gone into knowledge. It’s a self – analysis test.

• The violins play from all sides; all the romantic songs form a soothing medley. Cacophony becomes a glorious sound

• It’s also the time to catch up with AOL people from different zones. “Jai Guru Dev” becomes like a catch phrase and at times ums up all the conversation :P

• The “Indianness” in you arises and you just look for the best ethnic attire, putting up bindi etc..truly becoming a Hindustani girl.

……And if one is lucky enough to have him come close and give darshan, the hearbeat pounds faster, smile becomes bigger and broader, hands seem to be folded in respect automatically, the eyelids fail to bash, you become world-blind and can see only HIM and HM and HIM……..

CAUTION: It may lead to tears galore! Grateful tears, faithful tears…

Keep Smiling :)
